Islam Taught in Public Schools 2: Invasion America

June 05, 2008 By: Collin Williams Category: Philosophy & Religion 6 Comments →

Teaching Islam in American Public School:

Apparently the jump to teaching Islam in American Schools took less time than I expected. Parents in Friendswood Texas were not notified before hand as two Muslim women gave a 30 minute presentation on Muslim culture, including religion. As part of a yearlong study of respect, tolerance and culture the school violated it’s own district rules by failing to notify the parents.

School district spokeswoman Karolyn Gephart, in defense of the schools actions said, “If you pulled a book about Islam from the library, you would find the same stuff in the book. There was no proselytizing.” BAM! I can think of a book about Islam that a school has no business discussing. In fact as I said yesterday, a government has no business teaching my (or any) child about religion. Speaking for myself, this goes double for a religion or belief I happen to have. By their standard, I could grab the Koran, the Bible, Bagadavita, or any book on Kabbalah, Gnosis or even an Ideological book like the Communist Manifesto and go in and give a 30 minute presentation. Would you reader, accept me going into your child’s classroom and teaching philosophical values of any book I choose?

Well, we don’t want to offend the Muslims! I don’t understand this global attitude of being afraid to offend. Muslims seem to be the first group that goes crying about hate crime and being offended the moment they see something they don’t like. A woman’s bare ankles? So offensive!

Mahmud Ahmadinejad: Looks a little gay

Let’s talk about this peaceful religion and culture that is being taught in American and European schools. Here is a quote from the President of Iran one of the world’s most influence Muslims, “I must announce that the Zionist regime (Israel), with a 60-year record of genocide, plunder, invasion and betrayal is about to die and will soon be erased from the geographical scene. Today, the time for the fall of the satanic power of the United States has come and the countdown to the annihilation of the emperor of power and wealth has started.” Keep in mind this is during a time they are developing a Nuclear program.

So where are the Islamic protesters for that? Where are the offended Muslims when it comes to genocide of Israelis and Americans? A final quote from the story above comes from, Dr. Ahmed Ahmed, a member of the board of directors for the Galveston Islamic Center. He said, “There’s a common misperception that Muslims are somehow un-American. The few Muslims who have tainted the faith as terrorists have helped spread the myth that Islam is violent and extremist.”

That is an interesting opinion Dr. Ahmed Ahmed, is it a misperception that Muslims are commonly outraged over a woman walking down a street without her brother or husband leading her? Are they outraged when she is stoned to death for being raped? Ahmadinejad has the gall to call us a satanic power?

Islam taught in Public Schools

June 04, 2008 By: Collin Williams Category: Philosophy & Religion No Comments →

Religion in School:

Under the headline, “Now Muslim Clerics to Teach Our Children,” the self proclaimed, “worlds greatest newspaper,” The Daily Express has delivered an article on Islamic influence in the schools of Britain. The plan calls for British Born Imams to speak in public schools to deliver “faith-based citizenship lessons” so that the pupils can “learn about the Koran and Islam in the context of a multi-cultural society.” The article further quotes. Martin Ward, deputy general secretary of the Association of School and College Leaders, as saying. “Schools, by and large, are already doing these things. Every school teaches pupils to be tolerant and know the tenets of different faiths. That’s exactly what religious education is supposed to be.”

Mr. Ward, you are not correct. Islamic schools do not teach tolerance of different faiths, they teach that non-believers must be converted (or killed). The state has no business discussing religion, even in England (which to my knowledge, used to be a Protestant country). Imagine your child getting home from school and talking about all the wonderful things the Imam taught them that day about the peaceful nature of the most violently extremist religion in the world. Or about ANY religion, even the one you happen to believe. Do you want anybody other than you or someone you trust teaching your child about God? How many interpretations of each religion are there anyway?

Church and State:

So, if the Government of England is so fond of promoting religious tolerance, that would apply to all religions right? WRONG! In an article from the Daily Telegraph titled, “Christian Preachers face Arrest in Birmingham,” two evangelists are threatened with arrest for committing the “hate crime” of distributing gospel leaflets in a predominately Muslim community. As I read this, I kept wondering where the “hate crime” was going to come in, but as it turns out, the (PCSO) Officer’s idea of “hate crime” was discussing religion in a public area (not unlike a school).

When the officer realized that the men he was speaking to were Americans, he reportedly launched into an anti-bush, anti-war tirade. When the evangelists noted that what he was talking about had nothing to do with the gospel, the PSCO became enraged. The West Midlands Police refused to apologize, but said the incident was under investigation.

So which is it England? Peaceful understanding of religions, or hate crime? Or is subjective based on which religion we’re discussing? You clearly have no concept of freedom of religion nor of what a government’s roll ought to be. What’s next, “Allah Save the Queen?” England sucks.

Philosophy of Stupidity

May 25, 2008 By: Collin Williams Category: Corrupt Government, Economy, Philosophy & Religion No Comments →

Communist are so stupid:

Members of the Communist Party in Russia are outraged over the new Indiana Jones movie and are calling for it to be banned in Russia because of it’s anti-communism message. St Petersburg Communist Party chief Sergei Malinkovich said, “It’s rubbish … In 1957 the communists did not run with crystal skulls throughout the U.S. Why should we agree to that sort of lie and let the West trick our youth?” They refer to the movie as “Ideological sabotage” to the beliefs of young Communists, and they know a thing or two about indoctrination.

It is almost unbelievable how stupid the Communist Party leadership is. Yes, Hollywood is making secret anti-communist propaganda to indoctrinate your youth on how bad communism is. You’ve discovered us! Viktor Perov, a Communist Party member tried to play the guilt card, “What galls is how together with America we defeated Hitler, and how we sympathized when Bin Laden hit them. But they go ahead and scare kids with Communists. These people have no shame.” Oh thanks for doing us that favor with Hitler, Mr. Perov. In Russian War museums it is generally taught that Russia defeated Japan and Germany in WW2 on their own. Funny that you only admit US involvement when it suits you. But this is no Communist accepting Japan’s surrender:

Finally we have conspiracy theory from another member, Andrei Gindos, “Harrison Ford and Cate Blanchett (are) second-rate actors, serving as the running dogs of the CIA. We need to deprive these people of the right of entering the country.” I don’t even know how to respond to this… these people are so dumb, I cannot believe it.

Evil Liberalism:

The House of Representatives least intelligent member; California’s own, Maxine Waters threatens to Nationalize the Oil Industry if Shell Oil doesn’t promise lower prices at the pump.

So that’s it then? If a company charges too much in the opinion of the government, the government will step in and take over their company? The Shell executives get it right when they suggest that they’ve seen this before, in Hugo Chavez’s Venezuela. What right do they have to use the police power of government to take over a company? If you think prices are high now, just wait until the government gets their hands on it. Government is the worst spender ever. They’ve destroyed the value of our currency, they’ve trampled our rights and freedom in the name of security, they steal our money, they bend to the will of environmental nut-jobs and they think they can successfully run the Oil Industry? Fat chance of that!

Maxine Waters, there is a reason people call you the dumbest member of congress; Because you are.

Government is bad

May 18, 2008 By: Collin Williams Category: Corrupt Government, Philosophy & Religion No Comments →

Government is Good?? I don’t think so!

I have discovered my antithesis in the “Government is Good” website. As an individualist It is very hard for me to read their site, as they essentially take the stance that large government and freedom are not polar opposites. They point out the great fervor of the “war on government” and provide a long list of reasons why the government is a positive influence in your life. For instance, they say that “taxes are good” because of all the government programs they provide and how they work on all of our “societal problems” like our “economic inequality”. They argue that the poor are somehow entitled to the wealth that someone else creates, and that it is government’s responsibility to make sure that distribution of wealth occurs.

They say that the Government is the champion of justice, equality, freedom, and security and point out that the “Political value” of Liberty can only be “provided” by the Government. They quote conservatives as saying, “Life isn’t fair… so get used to it,” (Which made me laugh) then go on to say that Government’s role is also to make life “more fair” for the people, going on for 4 pages.

Capitalism (needs government?):

Freedom: They say that Capitalism requires Freedom, but then say, “Only government laws can provide and protect the personal freedom necessary to allow wide-scale involvement in a market system.” What? The right to freedom is something your are born with, it is not “provided” by any government… and certainly not protected by our government anymore.

Property rights: Next they feed us, “Without the right to own property and dispose of it as you wish, capitalism as we know it could not exist. These rights are created and protected by the government.” Again, they say that your fundamental rights are provided by government.

I will not paraphrase all 8 pages of why they believe a FREE market needs to be controlled, but I can say that every argument is based on the false premise that individual rights come from government.

How they plan to fix American government:

This reads like the democrat candidate play book on raising taxes on the rich to pay for the poor and lazy (and for you, “The poor are not lazy!” folk, you can replace “lazy” with “unmotivated”). I can hardly believe these words are spoken in this order in a serious manor, however their first order of business in “fixing” government is “Raise State and Federal Minimum Wages” and providing “Living Wage Policies.” It is an absurd argument, the minimum wage can only be fixed by abolishing it. When the minimum wage increases, the cost of goods and services increases to compensate for employers paying more for employees, which is followed by a general increase in cost of living. Those who receive the minimum wage effectively have a push on value, while every single person who does not make the minimum wage sees and overall increase without matching increase in pay. NOBODY BENEFITS FROM THE MINIMUM WAGE!

The “solution” goes on with, subsidizing wages of low-income working families with earned income tax credits. Reducing those high corporate salaries. Bolstering Union Power. Free higher education. Progressive taxation and employee ownership plans. Congratulations, you’ve just become a communist.

The reason communism does not work is it destroy the incentive of the producers to produce. Wealth is NOT created at the Federal Reserve printing press, nor at your local bank when they issue a line of credit. Wealth is created when a man produces value from his mind and his effort. The next logical step in the communism argument is to enslave the producers, so that “society can benefit.”

Thank you “Government is good” website for illustrating (extremely well) the worst possible scenario.

I reject your plan for communism, I reject the minimum wage, and I reject society.
