Campaign 2008

2008 Presidential Campaign Candidate Rundown:

This year we have another Presidential election, complete with the misinformation of the media, hilarious political ad attacks and the eternal obedience to the two party system.

First: We have two Democrats still pounding away at each other.

Barrack Obama: A black man asking for change
Total Campaign Funding: $193,600,733 as of 4/13/2008
Total Pork-Barrel spending last year: $91,000,000

Obama Rejected

Essentially Obama’s platform is, “change.” He is banking on the current level of disapproval of the current administration with his catch phrase: “Change we can believe in.” His speeches are one dimensional as he continually repeats the same few talking points over and over again.

His campaign is shrouded by the video released of his Pastor, Jeremiah Wright who screams “God Damn America,” “US of KKK A,” and that our own terrorism in other countries prompted 9/11.

He believes in taxing the people who worked harder and earn more to give to people who do not work as hard. He calls the poor “unfortunate” as though luck has something to do with it.He also wants to raise the minimum wage which helps nobody. See, when the minimum wage goes up, business adjust their pricing to compensate for more expensive employees. So for those who make that wage, prices stay the same. For everybody else, you’re screwed because prices have gone up.Finally, he was to back out of the war in Iraq on the premise that Iraq’s leaders can just work it out. Oh, and we’ll send money too.

So for your racist values, your irresponsible taxation, your fiscal retardation, and your weak exit strategy, you are getting 4 rejection stamps.

Hillary Clinton: The girl who cried wolf
Totally Campaign Funding: $169,003,120 as of 4/13/2008
Total Pork-Barrel spending last year: $340,000,000

Hillary Rejected

As Hillary doesn’t have a catchy campaign slogan I am going to borrow one from Neal Boortz, “I want my Mommy: Hillary 2008.” She continually plays the “poor girl” card in her interviews, and has even cried on several occasions to get sympathy. Her position is, “I’ll do whatever it takes to achieve power.”

I want my mommy!

Her campaign is shrouded with continuing evidence that she was involved in illegal campaign financing, as well as multitude of lies and deceit. Almost every day there is something new that she is lying about entirely. Her campaign is also plagued by this: DISCLAIMER: This is very disturbing and may cause nightmares.

She campaigns for national health care as a ‘right,’ essentially making it your responsibility to pay for everybody else’s medical issues. With her ‘hispandering’ Hillary wants to give citizenship to illegal aliens. Never mind they broke our laws by avoiding the immigration process. Never mind that illegal Mexicans produce more crime per capital than any other group in America. This woman wants votes, and doesn’t care who she sacrifices to get them. Finally, Hillary wants to lay the entire tax burden upon the “Rich” by making sure that they pay their “Fair Share.” Her position is that if you earn money, it is the Government’s responsibility to distribute it to those who “deserve it.” Sounds a little like page 1 of the Communist Manifesto to me.

So for your lies, your national health care, your hispandering, your Communist values, and your disturbing campaign video, you get 5 rejection stamps.

John McCain: The wolf in sheep’s clothing.
Total Campaign Funding: $64,654,539 as of 4/13/2008
Total Pork-Barrel spending last year: $0,000,000 (yes, he has 0)

McCain Rejected

“Service to America” is McCain’s Slogan and his campaign is centered on his leadership experience and his Conservative views.

His campaign is shrouded by the wave of McCain hatred in the early days of the GOP Primary, and the controversy of McCain’s history of Moderate/Liberal opinions. He claims to talk straight, but often comes out with an alternate opinion a few minutes later.

While McCain does believe in tax cuts, he still believes that taxing income is fair.Well crap. I have been looking for dirt on McCain to slam him with, but keep coming across, McCain defending gun rights, voting against bans on so called “assault weapons.” Securing the boarder and enforcing proper immigration practices. Defense of the Constitution. He is targeting Iran and Syria though, clearly. But on a personal note, I am kind of a fan of kicking out bad governments.

So McCain: For your history as a war veteran, your lack of pork barrel spending, and your defense of the 2nd amendment you dodge a few rejected stamps. But for your wavering stance, moderate views, and your continuation of the intrusive tax system, I am giving you 1 rejected stamp. After all, it’s kind of my thing.

The problem I have with the Republican Party in general is that they say all the right things about less government, less taxation, and constitutional defense. But when it comes down to it, the size of government increases, taxation remains broken, and our rights continually get violated. So I cannot trust you Republican Party, you have violated that trust.

This is a great year to vote for a 3rd party, like the Libertarian Party and a great year to Reject Society!
